The following

Forest Ranger/Technician (Class Code
-70410)
You must have the following to qualify:
-
High School diploma or GED
-
One year of
experience in the operation and
maintenance of equipment such as trucks,
tractors, transports, crawlers, and
bulldozers (Applicants must list the
equipment they operated and described
the maintenance they performed on their
application).
OR
Special Requirements
- Possession of or the ability to
obtain a valid Alabama driver’s license
at time of appointment.
- Some
positions will require applicants to
obtain a commercial driver’s license
(CDL) during their probationary period.
Forester (Class Code 70429)
You must have the following to qualify:
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry,
Forest Management, or a closely related
field from an accredited college or
university
- NOTE:
Applicants may apply for this position
during their last semester of college:
however applicants will be required to
submit documentation verifying
completion of the Bachelor’s degree to
the hiring agency prior to beginning
work.
